Aims and Objectives

TrainLead is intended for teachers from schools across the educational system (Early Years, Primary and Secondary) in Bulgaria, Romania, Greece and Turkey who want to become school principals, deputy principals or leaders of teachers’ teams.

TrainLead will provide training through an on-line training programme which will be provided for aspiring school leaders.

TrainLead will provide those aspiring school leaders with the skills and competences to become effective, inspiring and visionary school leaders of tomorrow.

The outputs of TrainLead are:

10 staff members from all partner countries will be trained in providing online mentor support

25 senior teachers will be trained in the programme as part of the pilot testing phase;

100 stakeholders from partner and other European countries will be informed of project results and policy recommendations through 2 multipliers events.

3,000 partner staff members, target groups and stakeholders on national and European level will be informed of project results through dissemination activities carried out during the whole project lifecycle.

TrainLead is being delivered by a consortium of seven educational partners in Bulgaria, Romania, Greece, Spain, Turkey and the UK.

TrainLead is funded by the EU programme Erasmus+ (Key Action: Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices) and will run from November 2016 until December 2018.
